I specialize in air transport and tourism economics, with over 10 publications in leading journals such as Transportation Research Part A, Annals of Tourism Research, Transport Policy, and Journal of Transport Geography. My research combines qualitative and quantitative methodologies to address contemporary challenges in the air transport industry, particularly the connections between aviation, tourism, and regional prosperity. I focus on the economic and social sustainability of airlines, airports, and aviation-related tourism activities. Recently, I have explored areas such as AI, green operations, efficiency, productivity, and sustainability reporting, aiming to contribute to regional resilience and global environmental responsibility in aviation.
