I hold a PhD in English Literature from the London Shakespeare Centre at King's College London, where I also completed my MA in Shakespearean Studies. I also hold an Honours degree in English from Victoria University of Wellington, and an Honours degree in Classics from the University of Otago in Dunedin, where I grew up. I've been working in the English programme in the School of Humanities, Media and Creative Communication at Massey since 2017.

Research Interests

I am interested in early modern drama in print and performance, and in the study of the reception of early modern literature more broadly, particularly its material contexts. I'm also interested in the contemporary performance of Shakespeare in post-colonial contexts, and in contemporary feminist performance.
